The former Casa del Fascio di Rontagnano, built in the early 1930s, is set within the walls of the historic settlement of Rontagnano. The building overlooks the very center of the ancient village of Rontagnano, close to the remains of the fortress.
Rontagnano is a small rural agglomeration of Malatesta origin, located about 500 meters above sea level and recovered in 2003; the conservative restoration works of the Ex Casa del Fascio also date back to the same period, for which the municipality incurred an expenditure of about 260,000 euros. Currently, the premises of the Ex Casa del Fascio in Rontagnano are used as a civic hall and enjoyed by the hamlets’ associations.
