Located along the central Via E. Ricci in the Capoluogo, the washhouse represents a real “place of memory” and as such it allows to know what life was like in a time that all things considered is not even too far away; a time that contemporary historiography tends to rediscover and that constitutes the basis and the root of the collective growth of the Sogliano community.
From the area surrounding the washhouse, one can take an evocative pedestrian path that – through the “Peace Park” – leads to the historic center of Sogliano al Rubicone.
