The Oratory, dedicated to the Madonna Lauretana del Farneto, was erected in 1574 as the Ospitale di San Paolo Osmarino; in the 17th century it was rebuilt in a larger form. The Farneto is one of the most panoramic points in the Romagna region; almost 500 meters high, it is clearly visible for a long stretch of the sea. This is the reason for the ancient devotion of sailors to Madonna Del Farneto, their patroness.
