The Oratory of St. Agnes was born in Montegelli in 1854, from the need of D. Giovanni Rubertini to make another church available to the people, where they could perform the sacred rites, in case the Pieve was interdicted. Gioacchino Brunetti ceded to the Archpriest (his brother-in-law) the house of the Hospital, which had previously become his property, so that he could obtain from it the church he sought. It was Brunetti himself who devoted himself to the work and finishing of the structure. On January 28, 1855, the Oratory was thus blessed by D. Giovanni Rubertini, who first said Mass there. The church is dedicated to St. Agnes V. It is 5.80 meters long and 3.80 meters wide and contains a small chapel and sacristy. Currently, the Oratory of St. Agnes is owned by the Nucci family.
