Capuchin priest, poet and eclectic artist from Ville Montetiffi, where there is a plaque commemorating his native home. Dedicated to him is the “Agostino Venanzio Reali” Museum inside the rectory adjoiningSt. Leonard ‘sAbbey in Montetiffi. The collection consists of about a hundred works, mostly on sacred themes, that the priest made during his lifetime; these include terracotta and clay artifacts, drawings and paintings. A beautiful crucifix by Father Reali can also be found on the high altar of the small church of San Paolo all’Uso. The Municipal Library was named after Father Venanzio Reali, and the
National Biennial Poetry Prize.
