A famous pianist, teacher and good composer born in Sogliano al Rubicone, he conducted in Bologna and Turkey; in 1942 he returned to Sogliano to spend the last years of his life there.
The “Luigi Zanuccoli” International Competition for Young Musicians, held at the Pro Loco and the “Elisabetta Turroni” Theater, is dedicated to him.
