The Linea Christa Museum saw the light of day in 2006, thanks to a number of collectors from Sogliano who joined in an association. The exhibit displays war materials used by the armies that fought in the Sogliano hills and surrounding territories: weapons, uniforms, equipment, video documents and photos dating back to the passage of the World War II front in Romagna in the fall of 1944. An air raid shelter has been set up in the adjacent cave, with straw and candlelight, inside which the audio sequence of an air raid is played. Most of the exhibits concern the Christa Line, a series of strongholds and strategic points located along the Rubicon River, near which in October 1944 German soldiers temporarily halted the advance of Allied troops. A small display case holds Garibaldi-era memorabilia, now one of a kind. The collection is constantly growing, and there is fruitful cooperation with other organizations and public institutions in organizing historical reenactment events.
