Sogliano al Rubicone is now a point of attraction for hikers, trekkers and bicycle tourists from all over Italy and Europe.
In addition to the Way of St. Vicinius that crosses our territory, “The Paths of the Upper Rubicon” have been established: 16 trails on 156 km completely dedicated to trekking, MTB excursions and horseback riding. Bicycle tourists can count on many trails: 5 hills of the Nove Colli, the route of the Tour de France 24, Giro D’Italia 2020 and 2016, and the historical Coppi – Bartali Route. Our territory is frequented by many enthusiasts and professionals who choose our routes and itineraries to train surrounded by nature, and Marco Pantani is perhaps the most famous. “La salita della cioca,” with its 18 hairpin bends is also called “the climb of the pirate,” and the “Colle del Barbotto,” a mythical climb at the end of which is the monument in his memory where many cyclists imprint on photographs the memory of their passage.
