Compass is a photographic exhibition by Dana Hilmy that explores the heart of Palestinian heritage and identity.
With a passion for visual storytelling, Dana presents a curated collection of powerful images that capture the beauty, resilience, and traditions of Palestine. The exhibition includes a rich variety of traditional costumes passed down from generation to generation, ancient industries that reflect the craftsmanship of the past, and the timeless charm of historic cities. Intimate family portraits and immersive depictions of Palestinian arts further enrich the narrative, offering a deep look into the cultural fabric of the region.
“Bussola is a visual compass that guides visitors through a legacy of history and tradition, inviting them to reflect and connect with a culture deeply rooted in expression.”
This initiative is part of the “Giro di Italia per la Pace”, in which the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone has registered, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis, which will culminate in October with another moment of celebration to welcome the “Lamp of Peace”.
