“Sogliano al Rubicone – Terra di Piadina” is the hallmark for products obtained from organic ancient grains from the hills of Sogliano al Rubicone, ground by Molino Pransani, which has been a precious point of reference for farmers since 1921.
The project “Sogliano al Rubicone – Terra di Piadina” is promoted by the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone, the Agricultural Council, the Pransani Mill and the “Le Teglie di Montetiffi” company.
When you enter a place that displays the logo “Sogliano al Rubicone – Terra di Piadina” you are sure to buy or eat a piadina born of passion, made with ancient wheat native to the Sogliano area and cultivated with natural methods respecting the organic supply chain of ancient grains.
The piada, therefore, is more fragrant and has a characteristic taste; it is more digestible because it is low in gluten and is richer in nutrients, the apotheosis of its fragrance is obtained by cooking it on the “ Teglia di Montetiffi “, handcrafted with “Terra di Porosa clay”, to rediscover the unique flavor, history, work and ancient traditions of Sogliano.
The piadina romagnola, also known as piada, is a typical food product of Romagna, a true symbol of simplicity, territoriality and genuineness now famous all over the world; it is the icon par excellence of Romagna and goes well with Formaggio di Fossa di Sogliano DOP also with squacquerone, rocket, raw ham, salami, saba, savòr or caramelized figs.
