The fulcrum of this monologue, built through Mina&#8217;s songs sung in playback, is the dream: losing the ability to dream means letting a part of oneself die.<br \/>\n&#8220;With the inmates,&#8221; says Granata, &#8220;we staged Mina&#8217;s last live concert, at the Bussola, on August 23, 1978. The idea was to enter one&#8217;s memories, in one&#8217;s own space, where everything would be possible, recovering an annulled femininity, the freedom of expression of one&#8217;s soul and body, in a place \u2013 like prison \u2013 which, by necessity, tends to cancel all this on a daily basis. Each of them had two songs by Mina and, through lip-syncing, had to convey the strength and power of their story&#8230; I don&#8217;t want and I can&#8217;t bring the girls from the prison on stage, because what we did in that place is right that it remains with them and for them. There is only me on stage: but I bring their eyes, gestures, tears and smiles to the girls.
