Placed along the provincial road that connects the hamlet Montepetra Bassa, the washhouse constitutes a “place of memory,” in the same way as the one in the capital. In addition to being indispensable works to the lives of the generations that preceded us, the wash houses were also places for gathering, socializing, exchanging news and chatting. At present, thanks also to the small adjacent rest area, it constitutes a point of attraction for short stops by bicycle tourists in search of picturesque natural scenery.
