“Romagna Mia, Romagna in bloom”…these are the verses that the Romagnoli and Romagnola women hum when spring arrives and everything blooms! The hills are in bloom, the woods green up, the sky turns blue and the sun begins to warm hearts and skin: it’s time to take a ride around Sogliano al Rubicone! OUTDOOR – TREKKING – EXCURSIONS
There is no better time to walk the trail network. “The Trails of the Upper Rubicon” , 16 loop trails perfect for rediscovering the naturalistic charm of the Romagna hinterland, conveniently accessible for a weekend out of town, experiences to try and share as a couple, with friends or family.
In particular, “The Path of Leonardo da Vinci” is an itinerary suitable for everyone, starting from the Historic Center of Sogliano al Rubicone. Heading towards Vignola, you will pass through “San Donato Park and the Concavities of Leonardo da Vinci,” a perfect place for a stop or picnic. In the Park there is a fresh water fountain, a life path, “The Tempietto di San Donato” dedicated to Peace and reproductions of “Leonardo da Vinci’s Concavities“: interactive installations that spread sounds, history and ancient knowledge. In short, a playful walk with natural scenery to be immortalized on “Instagrammable” shots or places to simply enjoy the view.

CULTURE AND CURIOSITY
The scent of elderflowers and brooms envelops the historic center and all the hamlets, perfect days to visit our “Museum Pole” housed inside the Palace of Culture.
Be enchanted by the Museo del Disco d’Epoca, the Museo di Arte Povera, the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Romagna, and the Linea Christa Museum.
Then you cannot miss a walk with a visit to theMontetiffi Abbey and the adjacent Agostino Venanzio Reali Museum. TYPICAL CUISINE AND GASTRONOMY
The gastronomic delicacies that can only be enjoyed at this time of year are diverse.

The typical dishes (strozzapreti, tagliatelle, piadina) are enriched with condiments made from wild and seasonal herbs such as “strigoli”, asparagus, arugula, strawberries: exceptional raw materials used by all our restaurateurs!
“Fossa di Sogliano DOP Cheese” remains a basic ingredient of our typical cuisine and “Le Fosse“, in which the famous cheese is seasoned, are open all year round ready for your palate to enjoy this delicacy. MAIN EVENTS
In spring within the playbill of “Prova d’Attore” returns “FuoriLuogo,” a review dedicated to theatrical storytelling in unconventional spaces.
A practice in the sign of widespread theater, to give place to theater even outside the theater, nurturing and consolidating an effective (and affective) dimension of theatrical community.
In the second half of June, the historic center of Sogliano officially kicks off the “Sogliano Estate” festival with two very important events for the village: Ori di Sogliano and Malt in Fossa. “Ori di Sogliano” will take place on June 18, 2022, it is an event for families and young people, designed to acquaint all visitors with the most valuable resources of the area and its traditions; it involves the citizenship with workshops organized in preparation for the event with the purpose of making decorations and decorations at the festival. During the event there are performances until late at night; concerts, street artists, painters and sculptors enliven the historic center, where visitors also have the opportunity to admire the stands of ancient crafts and local handicrafts. The rich artistic offerings are complemented by the gastronomic offerings of typical local products and the craft beer tasting route within the Malt in Fossa area (June 17-18, 2022), conceived by the La Fossa del Luppolo Association, which enlivens the Garibaldi Square area for young audiences with DJ sets and concerts.

SPORTS AND LEISURE
Several sport-related events are on the calendar: in addition to the Trail del Rubicone on April 3, the first Skateboard Contest at the Skate Park “Il Sogno” is scheduled for April 24, while the “9 Colli”, an important cycling sporting event starting from Cesenatico, is scheduled for May 22, 2022.
