The town is nestled in a protected nature oasis and enjoys a dominant position over the Savio Valley. On the main square of the ancient village stands the Church of San Biagio, inside which are preserved a 15th-century wooden kneeler and an 18th-century organ. A short distance away is theformer Casa del Fascio, built in the early 1930s. From the town center it is possible to take a short hike to Mount Meleto, one of the highest hills in the Sogliano area (600 m) from which there is a 360-degree view from the Riviera to the Apennines, and there stands an ancient oratory consecrated to Mary and one of the few monuments dedicated to the memory of German soldiers.
