THE CAMMINO DI SAN VICINIO:
The territory of Sogliano al Rubicone is traversed by the Cammino di San Vicinio-a loop itinerary that stretches for almost 300 km and overlaps in many sections with the ancient Roman road system-through theprovinces of Arezzo, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini.
The path retraces the roads and places of the life of St. Vicinius, patron and first bishop of Sarsina,providing breathtaking landscapes all along the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines.
The route is divided into 16 stages, and in particular stages 10 and 11 involve the municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone: the route arrives from Sant’Agata Feltria, enters the municipality from the locality of Montetiffi, passes through the town of Sogliano al Rubicone, and then continues toward San Giovanni in Galilea in the municipality of Borghi.

Recently inaugurated is the “Ciclovia di San Vicinio”-a fully tabbed itinerary of 325 kilometers on more than 8000 meters of elevation gain-that enriches the traditional Cammino afoot, allowing lovers of two wheels to discover enchanting and picturesque places in total safety.
