The Elisabetta Turroni Festival reaches its twentieth edition this year.
It is a theatrical event that involves students of the Comprehensive Institute of Sogliano al Rubicone. Its goal is to create a living and engaging theater, in which the children-actors excite and involve the children-spectators.
The review is not only a moment in which young people become protagonists on stage, but also a way to educate about theater, learning to listen and appreciate what happens on stage. The theater thus becomes a “magic game” in which actors and spectators get in tune, sharing emotions, joy and the desire to dream, becoming an important educational tool for growth.
So let’s make Elisabetta Turroni’s thought our own: “Life is a continuous theatrical representation … we are made of the same substance as dreams” (from Like a Flash, Il Ponte Vecchio, 2001).
