Teatro Elisabetta Turroni For a ‘whole week Sogliano al Rubicone becomes a great training ground for young talented musicians .
Hundreds of musicians from all over the world are expected.
Prizes worth a total of ten thousand euros Sogliano al Rubicone FC – From October 3 to 8, 2023 , in Sogliano sul Rubicone, the musical magic of the Luigi Zanuccoli Competition is renewed for the twentieth consecutive year. Hundreds of young musicians will perform again this year on the stage of the Elisabetta Turroni Theater. It starts on Oct. 3 with participants from music-oriented schools , followed by the sections of Soloists and Ensemble Music , and the special section of Opera Singing . Many competitors from Japan , Korea , China , Germany , Croatia , Italy , Spain , France ,Taiwan , Latvia . Commissions formed by prestigious concert masters and teachers of international renown , will select the young people , awarding prizes to the top three in each section and category . Prizes that are many and all significant , with a total value of ten thousand euros . In addition to scholarships (up to 1500 euros) , the winners will receive concerts , vouchers for sheet music and musical instruments . The Competition is promoted and organized by the lassicAllMusic Music Association of Rimini in collaboration with the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone Assessorato alla Cultura . “The new features that enrich and expand the event each year,” says the event’s Artistic Director Claudio Casadei, “are the result of painstaking work that engages the organization for several months. The rightful thanks goes as always to the municipal administration , which in recent years has invested in the event and actively collaborates in the optimal success of the international appointment. Musical culture is a great value, both for young people who can express passions and talents, and for the territories that welcome these forms of entertainment by investing in education and beauty. For our part, over the past 20 years we have strived to give the competition more and more value, artistic level and visibility in the international music arena.” The performances are all open to the public and particularly the invitation is extended to attend the winners’ concert and awards ceremony to be held on Sunday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Elisabetta Turroni Theater .
