Prizes worth a total of eighteen thousand euros Sogliano al Rubicone FC – From May 20 to June 2, 2024 , in Sogliano sul Rubicone, for the twenty-first consecutive year the musical magic of the Luigi Zanuccoli Competition is renewed. Hundreds of young musicians will perform on the stage of the Elisabetta Turroni Theater. It starts from May 20 to 23 with participants from music-oriented schools , secondary schools and high schools , students of propaedeutic courses of conservatories and students of private music schools . They are followed by sections of Soloists of each instrument up to maximum age of 32 , Chamber music , orchestras and choirs , and the special section of Opera Singing and Violin soloist . Commissions formed by prestigious concert masters and teachers of international renown , will select the young people , awarding prizes to the top three in each section and category . Prizes that are many and all significant, with a total value of ten-eight thousand euros . In addition to scholarships , the winners will receive concerts , vouchers for sheet music and musical instruments . The Competition is promoted and organized by the ClassicAllMusic Music Association of Rimini in collaboration with the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone Assessorato alla Cultura . “The new features that enrich and expand the event each year,” says the event’s Artistic Director Claudio Casadei, “are the result of painstaking work that engages the organization for several months. The rightful thanks goes as always to the municipal administration , which in recent years has invested in the event and actively collaborates in the optimal success of the international appointment. Musical culture is a great value, both for young people who can express passions and talents, and for the territories that welcome these forms of entertainment by investing in education and beauty. For our part, over the past 21 years we have strived to give the competition ever greater value, artistic level and visibility in the international music arena.” The Competition for the country represents an important driver of cultural and environmental tourism : for almost two weeks it will be peacefully invaded by young students , their teachers and chaperones who will live it intensely , discovering the artistic and scenic beauty and food and wine traditions . The performances are all open to the public and particularly the invitation is extended to attend the concert and award ceremony for the winners to be held on Sunday, June 2 at 17:00 at the Elisabetta Turroni Theater .
