For two weeks Sogliano al Rubicone becomes a great training ground for young talented musicians.
Hundreds of musicians from all over the world are expected.
Sogliano al Rubicone FC – from 18 May to 31 May 2026, in Sogliano sul Rubicone, for the twenty-third consecutive year, the musical magic of the Luigi Zanuccoli Competition is renewed. There are hundreds of young musicians who will perform on the stage of the Elisabetta Turroni Theater again this year. There are hundreds of young musicians who will perform on the stage of the Elisabetta Turroni Theater again this year. It starts on May 18 with participants from music schools from all over Italy. This is followed by the Soloist sections, the special section of Opera Singing.
The prizes for each section are many and all significant, for a total value of fifteen thousand euros. In addition to important prizes in scholarships (up to 2,500 euros), the winners will receive concerts, vouchers for sheet music and study instruments. The competition stands out again this year for the presence of an international commission of the highest level in particular in the special section “opera singing”, an element that confirms the prestige and importance of the competition in the operatic music scene. The jury composed of artistic directors, teachers and professional agents from important Italian institutions, (Bruno de Simone baritone President of the jury, Cinzia Forte soprano, Matteo Pais artistic director of the Maggio Fiorentino academy, Elena Rizzo artistic secretary of the Petruzelli Bari theater, Edoardo Bottacin artistic director of the Social Theater of Rovigo, Mina Yossef theater agent) represents an extraordinary opportunity for young singers: not only a qualified assessment, but also a concrete opportunity for visibility and direct contact with the professional world. Alongside the value of the competition, it is precisely the quality of the commission that makes the competition a point of reference for those who wish to pursue a career in opera singing. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in front of experts able to recognize and promote talent at an international level.

The performances are all open to the public and in particular the invitation is addressed to participate in the concert and award ceremony of the winners to be held on Sunday 31 May at 5.30 pm at the Elisabetta Turroni Theater.
The Competition is promoted and organized by the ClassicAllMusic Music Association of Rimini with the support and collaboration of the Municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone, Department of Culture and the contribution of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
