CARLO AONZO TRIO
THE MANDOLIN, ITALY AND THE ADVENTURE OF ITALIAN
JAZZ Carlo Aonzo, mandolin
Luciano Puppo, double bass
Renzo Luise da Fano, guitar
All the charm and poetry of Italian and Italian jazz, on the notes of the tricolor instrument par excellence, held by one of its greatest international interpreters. Italians were protagonists of the birth of Jazz in America (but not only: they were also in France with the bal musette and in Argentina with the tango), they were also able to propose at home their own very personal declination of swing, the “syncopated music”, which blended the new rhythms that came from overseas with their own musical traditions: and it is precisely from this repertoire, elegant and original, that Carlo Aonzo Trio begins its journey, and if small masterpieces such as “Mille lire al mese” by Gilberto Maui, “A Zonzo” by Ernesto Bonino” or the famous “Tu vuo’ fa’ l’Americano” by Renato Carosone are the starting points, it will certainly be a journey full of surprises.
Possibility to dine at the Rontagnese
cultural group Wine Tasting Azienda Agricola Casali.
