An epic, ironic and deeply human journey. Paolo Cevoli brings us to the stage the mythical journey of Aeneas, comparing it with wit and lightness to other voyages that have marked history, from Christopher Columbus to Little Red Riding Hood, up to the memories of his father who emigrated to Australia in the 50s.With his unmistakable irony, Cevoli rereads Virgil’s Aeneid, returning a story that celebrates the roots and values of the Italian people. A journey through time and culture, where heroism mixes with everyday life, between prophecies, sacrifices and… porchetta sandwiches.
