An epic, ironic and deeply human journey. Paolo Cevoli brings to the stage the mythical journey of Aeneas, comparing it with wit and lightness to other journeys that have marked history, from Christopher Columbus to Little Red Riding Hood to the memories of his father who emigrated to Australia in the 1950s.
With his unmistakable irony, Cevoli rereads Virgil’s Aeneid, returning a tale that celebrates the roots and values of the Italian people. A journey through time and culture, where heroism is mixed with everyday life, among prophecies, sacrifices and… porchetta sandwiches.
