Sunday, August 27, 2023 3rd ROUTE – Allegro, adagio, allegro

Paths in Music 2023 closes with a beautiful walk of about 7 kilometers starting at 5 p.m. from the alluring Borgopetra Farmhouse in Lower Montepetra. This pleasant locality offers splendid views, as well as the charm of the ancient Saxons, containing fossil shells dating back millions of years. At the top of the promontory, the town retains scattered traces of the medieval castle. The Church of San Lorenzo, built in the 15th century, preserves valuable works of art from the Renaissance period. The evening concert is of great artistic merit: the Rossini Cello Orchestra offers a musical journey between cultured and pop music, performing original arrangements for a cello orchestra.

The trails are not of high difficulty; however, it is necessary to wear hiking boots and have suitable walking equipment (backpack, water bottle, headgear, trekking poles).

Sentieri in Musica takes place on the territory of Sogliano al Rubicone, on the trails of “I Sentieri dell’Alto Rubicone,” a network of 16 loop routes totaling 155 km.
