Theatrical recital based on the book of the same name Savà production Roberto Saviano returns to the theater to tell a story full of love, violence and courage. I decided to write this novel to tell the most dramatic and powerful love story I have come across. It collects all the colors of human feeling: naivety and enthusiasm, devotion and obsession, friendship, desire, courage, disappointment, misunderstanding, betrayal, disgust and tragedy. And yet the certainty that it is precisely in love that the only possibility of truth and meaning lies never fails. Love does not die. Roberto Saviano Rossella Casini is a Florentine student of Psychology, the only child of a normal city family; His mother is a small shopkeeper who has inherited some money, his father a pensioner. His life flows quietly between university and youthful leisure. Then things change, suddenly. We are in November 1977 and Rossella meets Francesco Frisina, a Calabrian from the Piana di Gioia Tauro, who is also enrolled at university. Francesco is a handsome boy, with a decisive attitude and frank manners. And above all he dotes on Rossella, for her light eyes, for her long golden hair. Love breaks out between them. In the summer they go together to Palmi, to his parents. Welcoming, apparently affectionate people, but who hide a terrible secret. Rossella soon discovers that the Frisina are linked to the powerful ‘ndrina of the Gallico, which has recently gone to war with that of the Condello. When the guns start firing, instead of leaving Rossella chooses to stay, she focuses on the love between her and Francesco, convinced that this love can even stop the feud. His decision will prove fatal. On February 22, 1981, Rossella Casini mysteriously disappeared from Palmi after phoning her father and announcing her return to Florence. No one will see her again. Although her body has not been found, she is recognized by the state as a victim of the ‘ndrangheta
