An intense reflection on human frailty and the ability to survive even in the most extreme situations. Loosely based on the novel Le assaggiatrici by Rosella Postorino, the play explores the fine line between guilt and instinct, between survival and collusion.
Through the events of Rosa Sauer, inspired by the real-life story of Margot Wölk, a powerful metaphor emerges for Nazism and the universal condemnation to “taste” the world at the risk of being overwhelmed by it. A narrative that touches deep chords, enriched by the voice and accordion of Marlene Fuochi.
