What is the difference between buying a frozen piadina at the supermarket, eating it in a restaurant or preparing it at home after taking a class with a “zdora of a kiosk”? According to CNA so much, because along with the memory of that experience comes the memory of the land, in a mix of culture and emotions that becomes indelible. The same principle can be applied to countless sectors. It is not new, but it becomes a real tourism lever when a “team” of entrepreneurs that proposes a territory in the broadest sense builds paths like these. This is the reason that led CNA to design three experiential tourism routes. The first, already tested and developed in the Forlì area along “the Caterina Sforza routes,” is now joined by two other routes, promoted by CNA Tourism and Commerce in collaboration with CNA Area Est Romagna: one dedicated to the territory of Sogliano al Rubicone the other to that of Cesenatico. The routes were launched at the TTG – Rimini International Tourism Fair 2022, an event that was a great success with the public this year. CNA was present with a booth with the CNA Emilia-Romagna experiential routes catalog, where dozens of meetings with national and international buyers were organized. A very special context for the press presentation, which took place on Thursday, October 20, in Sogliano al Rubicone, at the Antiche Fosse f.lli Rossini, which was attended by Cecilia Milantoni president of CNA Tourism and Commerce Forlì-Cesena, Davide Caprili president of CNA Area Est Romagna, Davide Gnola director of the Cesenatico Maritime Museum, Catia Bardi of Mandorlo Viaggi and Tania Bocchini mayor of Sogliano al Rubicone. Also present were representatives of some of the companies involved in the routes: Antiche Fosse f.lli Rossini, Fosse Brandinelli, Taglie di Montetiffi. CNA’S THREE EXPERIENTIAL ROUTES
The Forlì route dedicated to Caterina Sforza is confirmed as an e-bike bicycle touring itinerary along the Montone River to the foothills of Forlì, to learn about the figure of Caterina Sforza, Lady of Forlì, through the discovery of places, rust-printing artisan workshops and food and wine experiences. As a novelty this year, particularly for East Romagna, in Sogliano there will be a move from being welcomed by the centuries-old tradition of “Teglie di Montetiffi” with the possibility of experiencing the making of this symbol of the territory, then going down to visit the pits of “Antiche fosse” and “Brandinelli,” sensing the magic with which the much prized fossa cheese is made. In Cesenatico, on the other hand, it will be possible to experience rust-printed canvases at the Braghittoni Printworks, then visit the Maritime Museum and continue through the historic fishing village, then admire and listen to the “shipwrights,” the almost exclusive holders of Cesenatico’s ancient shipbuilding ability to make boats that we export to half of Europe. In between, the chance to taste the typical “piadina” anchovies, radicchio and onion, at the “piadineria del porto”.
The full version of the routes can be found at the link at the beginning of the article, where you can learn more, make reservations or, why not, apply as a company willing to get involved in the creation of new routes.
